Short-form comedy series - "AMDAN"

A hyper-exaggerated, slapstick short-form comedy series following "Amdan"—a modern reimagining of Sri Lanka’s legendary mischievous trickster. He is an overly confident, cheeky youth whose clever shortcuts and elaborate schemes to outsmart Amma, impress his crush, or avoid hard work inevitably spiral into high-energy, chaotic disasters.

The Concept: Merging the classic wit of Sri Lankan folklore with the fast-paced, physical comedy style, ඇම්ඩන් relies on visual punchlines, extreme facial expressions, and absurd escalations. It is designed to be highly shareable on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The humor transcends language, utilizing dramatic zooms, slow-motion sequences, and relatable Sri Lankan cultural tropes dialed up to absolute maximum intensity.

Meet the Characters

Amdan (The Protagonist): The charismatic, self-proclaimed genius. He always has a shortcut or a trick up his sleeve, but his immense overconfidence is his ultimate downfall.

Amma (The Unbeatable Boss): The ultimate authority figure. She is always three steps ahead of Amdan. She never yells; a single, slow-motion glare or the subtle unfastening of her slipper is enough to send Amdan into a meltdown.

The Nosy "Anti": The neighborhood surveillance system. She is always watering her plants exactly when Amdan is trying to sneak around, silently judging him and shaking her head in slow motion.

Siripala (The Gullible Sidekick): Amdan’s best friend who blindly follows his terrible plans, only to hilariously abandon him the second things go wrong.
